Case study
The story
In June 2023, Electricity Generation Company (Malawi) Limited hosted the Association of Power Utilities of Africa (APUA) annual meetings in Lilongwe.
The meetings brought together power utilities from across Africa alongside regional and international organisations to discuss issues shaping the development of the African electricity sector.
The programme included discussions around Africa's energy transition, collaboration between utilities, energy resilience and the development of sustainable power infrastructure.
389 Xperience supported the meetings through the 389 Konvene event management system and professional attendee nametags.
With delegates from across the continent, the event required a professional and structured attendee experience. 389 Konvene provided the technology layer while branded nametags supported identification and networking throughout the meetings.
